Inspired by the care she received for cancer at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, Libby and her husband became volunteers.
Libby’s cancer journey brought her to Sharp Grossmont Hospital, where she received surgery and treatment. Inspired by the care she received, Libby and her husband became volunteers at Sharp Grossmont. In their 90s, they continue to make volunteering an integral part of their life: “It gives you a sense of well-being, knowing you’re helping others the way you’d want to be helped.”
