The HASD&IC Board of Directors convened on May 24. Board Chair Patrick Frias, MD, President & CEO of Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego, officiated. Gratitude was expressed to Capt. Kimberly Davis of Naval Medical Center San Diego for her engagement as a DoD Liaison to the Board with best wishes as she assumes her new role as U.S. Pacific Fleet Surgeon at the U.S. Command Pacific Fleet in Hawaii effective June 5.
The following issues were presented for update and discussion: Community Health Needs Assessment future planning, Title 42 expiration, emergency medical services, HASD&IC Economic Impact Report data collection, and local efforts to address homelessness.
