Aging & Independence Services, the Dementia & Brain Health Team, and Central and East San Diego Community Action Network will be hosting a Dementia Skills and Resource Fair on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grossmont Healthcare District Health and Wellness Library. The event is intended for anyone interested in enhancing their skills in caring for, supporting, and engaging people living with dementia. Care partners, family members, friends, professional caregivers, service providers, and anyone who would like to the make a difference in the life of someone living with dementia are encouraged to register as an attendee or exhibitor.
