The Imperial County Board of Supervisors has appointed Kathleen Lang, DPA, as the new county executive officer, effective June 27. Previously, Dr. Lang served as a representative of HealthNet and worked with the Imperial County Local Health Authority Commission, where she led implementation of the California Accountable Communities for Health Initiative, the Whole Person Care Initiative, the Health Home Program, and the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal initiative. Given her extensive background, Dr. Lang is poised to lead Imperial County into its next chapter.
