Member Spotlight: Change of Command at Naval Medical Center San Diego  

Welcome and congratulations to Capt. Elizabeth M. Adriano, MC, USN, who relieved Capt. Kimberly D. Davis on June 5 as the director of Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD).  

Adriano, an obstetrician-gynecologist and Navy Medical Corps Officer, previously served as commanding officer of Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point in North Carolina, where she led a keystone component in the medical readiness of Marine and Navy units assigned to the base while ensuring beneficiaries and service member families received the highest quality health care possible. Duty stations spanning over two decades have also included Executive Officer at Naval Hospital Pensacola; the Inaugural Force Surgeon at Naval Information Forces in Suffolk, Virginia; and director of surgical services at Naval Hospital Jacksonville.

Davis had a change of duty station and has assumed the role of U.S. Pacific Fleet Surgeon at the U.S. Pacific Fleet Command in Hawaii.
