Robin Gomez, RN, MSN has been appointed as the new CEO of Kindred Hospital – San Diego (Kindred Hospital), a 70-bed long-term acute care hospital. In her role Robin will have oversite over all business development and operations, which includes clinical and financial management of the hospital. Robin brings 20+ years of health care experience in the San Diego market to her new role with Kindred Hospital. Most recently, Robin worked for the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency as an executive healthcare strategist, working closely with the Behavioral Health Services department and the chief geriatric officer in the Medical Care Services department. Prior to that Robin was the CEO for 11 years at Alvarado Hospital Medical Center, a 302-bed acute care hospital providing services to the East County in San Diego.
