The National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center has announced a new round of funding to support 21 health care facilities in strengthening special pathogen preparedness. Applications are open until Aug. 3 for awards of $500,000 to support training, equipment, infrastructure improvements, and other readiness activities.
