Professional musician and producer Sean Wolfe faced the prospect of losing his hearing after being diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, a rare tumor affecting hearing and balance. After seeking expert care at UC San Diego Health’s Acoustic Neuroma Program, he underwent successful surgery along with a cochlear implant, an option available only to select patients that allowed him to regain his hearing.
