Dr. Mahi Trivellas dreamed of playing college lacrosse and field hockey until an ACL injury changed her career trajectory. Thanks to physical therapy and her own determination, she recovered and competed for several years. During that time, she developed an interest in how the body recovers from injury, leading to a career in orthopedics. Now, at Sharp Memorial Hospital, Dr. Mahi specializes in sports injuries, using her experience as an athlete to help patients heal and get back in the game.
