Join Us Nov. 19 for a Candid Conversation about Health Care

There is no shortage of uncertainty in health care right now. Financial pressures, workforce challenges, behavioral health needs, and policy uncertainty are all reshaping how you lead and care for our communities.

In times like these, some of the most valuable conversations we can have are not only about the challenges ahead, but about how leaders are responding to them and collaborating to support communities, as well as where they see a path forward.

Those issues will be front and center during the CEO panel — moderated by Neerav Jadeja — at this year’s HASD&IC Annual Meeting on Nov. 19 at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa.

These panelists will tackle some big questions: What keeps CEOs up at night? How do we preserve access while confronting financial pressures? What needs to change to build a more effective and sustainable behavioral health system? Where can hospitals and community partners work together differently? And where do you see the greatest potential for artificial intelligence to improve patient care, workforce efficiency, or financial performance?

We’ll also end on a question I think is particularly important right now: What gives you hope about the future of health care?

But the CEO panel isn’t all that’s on the agenda. Other topics of discussion include:

  • A panel that will offer a deep dive on what health care funding and policy changes mean for our communities
  • A keynote by Jon Carmichael, world-renowned astrophotographer
and captivating storyteller, who will talk about “The Eclipse Mindset: Preparing for the Moments That Change Everything”

I hope you’ll be part of all the day’s events. If you haven’t already done so, it’s not too late to register. And if you haven’t reserved a hotel room yet, the deadline has been extended to Oct. 23. Join colleagues from across the region for a day designed to inform, challenge, and reconnect us around our shared work.
