As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches next week, several local organizations will be serving and distributing Thanksgiving dinners to families in need, including the San Diego Food Bank, San Diego Rescue Mission, Feeding San Diego, and Salvation Army. As the government shutdown continues, nearly 400,000 San Diegans who receive CalFresh benefits will experience a delay or reduction in November benefit allotments.
