Shining a Light on Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer is the sixth most common cancer in the United States. An innovative technology at UC San Diego Health uses blue light and white light combined with an imaging dye to make bladder cancer cells glow fluorescent pink. That helps catch tumors earlier, identify growths might have been missed, and decrease the rates of recurrence.
