5 Things To Know: County of San Diego Releases Revised Budget

On June 12, the County of San Diego released a $9.16 billion revised recommended 2026-27 budget that reflects public feedback. The revised budget is $3.8 million larger than the recommended budget released on May 18 and $522 million larger than the 2025-26 budget. It is scheduled for consideration and possible adoption by the Board of Supervisors on June 25. 

Ballot Measure Seeks to Strengthen Health and Safety Needs Across San Diego County

Last week, the San Diego County Health and Safety Act (a measure that would raise the sales tax by a half-cent across San Diego County) qualified for the November ballot.
